Who can join?
- Driffield Golf Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club and membership is open to the whole community
- Experienced golfers and beginners are equally welcome. The club regularly runs coaching classes specifically for beginners
- Golf can be played at any age and there are sections of the club to suit men and women of all ages
Membership categories
The different options and subscription levels are shown below and there are ways to spread the cost of membership across the year. A member may upgrade their membership to a higher level at any time on payment of the balance of fees for the year.

5 Day Membership
The category is limited to 50 members and above this number, names will be held on a waiting list.
- Play on course on Mondays to Fridays and in certain weekend competitions
- Play mid week competitions and obtain handicap
- Bar discount and use of all social facilities
- Sign in guests with 50% reduction Mondays to Fridays
Low Use Membership
Number of rounds per year restricted to 15 or by arrangement with the Pro shop up to 30 half rounds may also be taken.
Any unused rounds may not be carried over to the following year.
- Play Monday to Friday in off peak times and Saturday and Sunday after 4.00pm or after 1.30 pm from October 1st to March 31st
- Bar discount and use of all social facilities
- Obtain a handicap
- Play Wednesday mid-week medal competitions in off peak times
- Use of the practice facilities
Intermediate 22 & 23 Membership
Open to any member under the age of 24 on January 1st of the subscription year
Use of course and club facilities as a full member
Intermediate 18 to 21 Membership
Open to any member under the age of 22 on January 1st of the subscription year
Use of course and club facilities as a full member
Junior Under 18 Membership
Open to any member under the age of 18 on January 1st of the subscription year
Juniors under 18 with a parent or guardian as a full member of the club will receive a 50% reduction in subscription
May only tee off in Peak Times if accompanied by an adult member
Juniors under 12 may only play when accompanied by an adult relative or official guardian
Country Membership
Open to persons living more than 35 miles from the clubhouse, or full members of other clubs living more than 15 miles from the clubhouse

Practice Ground Membership
May use the club’s practice facilities
- Has the same right of access to the clubhouse & social events as a full member
Social Membership
Full use of the clubhouse facilities (i.e. bar, lounge, pool room, dining room) & access to all club social events

- Every Tuesday up to 11.00 am is reserved for Ladies to play.
- Some off peak times on club & section competition days are designated as peak times and Low Use members are not permitted to play.
