25th Anniversary Celebrations
It is with great pleasure that we are able announce the diary of events for the 25th 18-hole course celebrations at Driffield Golf Club. The event will take place over the weekend of 12 & 13 September 2015, please see here for full details. During the Second World War the club gave up 9 holes for agriculture in support of the war effort. Thereafter it remained as a 9-hole course until the early 1980's when an extension programme was under taken to return the course to it's present 18-holes which was officially opened on the 2nd of September 1990 by the President of the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the course returning to 18-holes the Club is hosting a celebration weekend which includes an evening of dancing with local artist Pinky and three golfing competitions held across Saturday and Sunday.
